Faculty Teaching Positions
Full-time, temporary, long-term substitute Media & Communications teaching position beginning mid-February 2025 for approximately 12 weeks. Responsibilities include teaching five sections of high school 21st Century Media and Cultural Communications, and Journalism, in accordance with department/school policies in effect at the time of hire. The ideal candidate must be a relationship builder, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be well trained in content knowledge and teaching strategies.
Non-Faculty Positions
Cub Corner is the U of D Jesuit Spirit Merchandise store. The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting with customer sales, inventory control, and maintaining the store’s atmosphere, to include cleaning, organizing, restocking and merchandising.
University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy seeks a Head Coach for its FIRST Robotics Team. The FIRST Robotics Team is a unique school activity in which students work with engineering mentors, school advisors, and each other to design, build, program, and compete with a robot against other teams worldwide. The U of D Jesuit team is Team 1701, aka The Robocubs. As a team, they strive to build a culture, within the school and throughout the city of Detroit, that encourages and celebrates science, technology, engineering, and math, that operates with integrity and professionalism, and that strives to achieve justice in access to technology and knowledge.
