GRAND REUNION WEEKEND
May 31 - June 1, 2019
Thanks to all the alumni who attended the Grand Reunion weekend. This year we celebrated alumni who graduated in a year ending in a 4 or an 9. Be on the lookout for the 2020 Grand Reunion Weekend dates for those who graduated in a year ending in 0 or 5.
Below is a brief overview of the last Grand Reunion Weekend events.
Grand Reunion Weekend Events:
All alumni are invited to enjoy 18 holes of golf with fellow classmates at the 50th Annual John Tenbusch Alumni Reunion Golf Outing. The outing will be at the Pine Trace Golf Club on Friday May 31 with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Price includes cart, driving range and practice facility use, professional tournament services, continental breakfast and lunch at the turn.
Friday, May 31, 2019 6 p.m. | U of D Jesuit
Catch up with your classmates during an informal evening over dinner and drinks with just the guys on Friday May 31. This event is also open to our 5-year alumni from the class of 2014. We will be providing tours of the Science and Engineering Center given by our Student Senate and National Honors Society members. Plus we'll be taking class photos. Stag Night at The High is always a hit!
Saturday, June 1, 2019 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. | Depart from U of D Jesuit
Experience the history of Detroit as well as the present and future of our city while cycling on low-traffic streets with the Cub Wheelman. This is a moderately paced (15 mph) cycling tour totaling 25 miles. The ride will leave from U of D Jesuit on Saturday, June 1, at 9 a.m. and return by 12:30 p.m. The route will include a tour of Belle Isle and Joe Louis Park, the proposed location for our new athletic complex. This is a free event. Bring your bike and a helmet. Road or mountain bikes will work. This is an unsupported ride (no SAG wagon). Saturday, June 1, 2019 5 p.m. Mass (optional) | 6 p.m. Reception & Dinner | U of D Jesuit
The Saturday Grand Reunion event will start with Mass in the Chapel, followed by a reception and dinner for alumni celebrating 10 or more years. The class of 1969 will be celebrating its 50th Reunion with dinner in Curley Lobby. Tours of the school will be available and Cub Corner will be open. You are welcome to bring your spouse and/or guest!
