THE MIDNIGHT GOLF PROGRAM
The Midnight Golf Program (MGP) is a 30 week empowerment and mentoring experience that teaches life skills including financial literacy, college preparation, community activism, as well as, learning to play golf. SUMMER IN THE CITY PROGRAM - VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Summer in the City is a non-profit organization that organizes fun, flexible, and fulfilling volunteer opportunities for teens and young adults across Metro Detroit.
The 2010 season boasted an average of 200 volunteers as day spread across 10 project sites throughout Detroit. For more information about our project areas (painting murals, agriculture and youth enrichment) students can go to http://www.summerinthecity.comInternship applicants must be graduating seniors, candidates will be flexible, have strong communication skills and take a disciplined approach to planning. Michigan State University - Gifted and Talented Education Program
The program offers school year & summer programs for bright and talented students who meet the academic eligibility requirements. Some classes are enrichment based, some provide high school (if the high school allows) and college credit. For more information and costs.
TASS - Telluride Association Sophomore Seminar
This is summer program for minority sophomores interested in African- American studies. The program is at Indiana University and U of M Ann Arbor. There is no cost for the program but travel costs can be covered by a scholarship from the association. For more information visit: TASS

CYO Summer Camps
The CYO Girls Camp and CYO Boys Camp have been in operation since 1946 and are owned and operated by the Catholic Youth Organization. The camps are located approximately 6 miles apart on the shores of Lake Huron near Port Sanilac. Alma College - Leadership Academy for Juniors
This is a residential program for students currently in their junior year in high school. Accepted applicants will receive registration material by May 24, 2013. LEAD Program - Leadership Education And Development
There are 4 programs at participating universities.
LEAD Business(SBI) for current juniors with a 3.0 GPA or better.
LEAD Engineering(SEI) for current sophomores and juniors with a GPA of 3.2 or better; great interest in math and sciences.
LEAD Global (SGI) for current freshmen and sophomores with a GPA of 3.2 and ready to live and study abroad.
LEAD Computer Science(CSI) for 8th graders, freshmen and sophomores with a 3.3 GPA or higher who are interested in computers.
