Databases

JSTOR - Collection of full-text, keyword-searchable academic journals. Use the Google Single Sign On with your school email address to access this database.

Project Muse- Journal collections of a wide array of research needs at academic, public, special, and school libraries worldwide. MUSE books and journals, from leading university presses and scholarly societies, are fully integrated for search and discovery.  Project Muse must be used on the school network.

Academic Search Complete -Designed for academic institutions. Comprehensive, multi-disciplinary resource of scholarly research. Coverage on a wide range of topics. Includes peer-reviewed full text resources for social sciences, humanities and STEM research. 

Gale in Context: Opposing Viewpoints- Provides different views about issues that help students develop critical thinking skills. This resource brings balance and perspective to contemporary issues using arguments from experts.

Points of View Reference- Presents multiple sides of more than 400 issues. Helps students assess and develop persuasive arguments and essays, better understand controversial issues, and develop analytical thinking skills.

LearningExpress Library- More than 700 courses, practice tests, tutorials, eBooks, and flashcards. Practice tests include ACT, SAT, PSAT, and TOEFL, as well as trade certification, civil service, math and reading tests, and U.S. citizenship. Includes a resume builder that you can save, edit, and print.
