FRESHMAN VIRTUAL WELCOME NIGHT

 

Congratulations on your acceptance to U of D Jesuit High School.

In our Virtual Welcome Night on May 5, you will be welcomed to the U of D Jesuit community by members of our school administration. This brief introduction will provide some important information you will find helpful in your transition into high school.

In addition, you will be invited to participate in some optional scheduled interactive activities on May 5, 6, and 7 that will allow you to communicate with Department Chairs and/or teachers from various academic departments. These sessions will provide opportunities to ask any questions you may have regarding your academic experience.

You will soon receive a "New Student Information Packet" from our Academic Affairs Office (AAO). This packet will include information such as important dates, course selection, dress code, transportation, and health services.

 

Virtual Welcome Night for Athletics

On May 12 and 13, we will also host a virtual welcome for those interested in participating in a fall sport (Football, Soccer, Tennis, and Cross Country). Our athletic administration, as well as our fall sport coaches, will be available to answer any questions you have about summer preparation, pre-season activities, and team expectations. The schedule for these online meetings athletics meetings is listed below.

Freshman - Arrupe Center / Magis Program Q&A Session (Optional)

6:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. Find out more about the academic services offered in the Arrupe Learning Center (Grades 7-12) and the Magis Academic Support Program (Grades 9-12). This is a joint session with Jesuit Academy students and parents.  

 

Freshman - Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) & Technology Q&A Session (Optional)

7:05 p.m. - 7:35 p.m.  Join this session to have your questioned answered about Technology and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device).

 



TUESDAY - MAY 12

Fall Sports Introduction & SOCCER Q&A Session (Optional)

6:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. Athletic Director, Mr. Nick Kocsis, welcomes you and your son to the fall sports program. This is immediately followed by a general introduction meeting to the U of D Jesuit Soccer program for High School and Academy students.

 



WEDNESDAY - MAY 13

Fall Sports Introduction & CROSS COUNTRY Q&A Session (Optional)

6:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. Athletic Director, Mr. Nick Kocsis, welcomes you and your son to the fall sports program. This is immediately followed by a general introduction meeting to the U of D Jesuit Cross Country program for High School and Academy students.

 

Fall Sports Introduction & HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS Q&A Session (Optional)

7:05 p.m. - 7:35 p.m. Athletic Director, Mr. Nick Kocsis, welcomes you and your son to the fall sports program. This is immediately followed by a general introduction meeting to the U of D Jesuit High School Tennis program. 

 


THURSDAY - MAY 14 

Fall Sports Introduction & FOOTBALL Q&A Session (Optional)

6:30 p.m. - 7:05 p.m. Athletic Director, Mr. Nick Kocsis, welcomes you and your son to the fall sports program. This is immediately followed by a general introduction meeting to the Football program for high school and Academy students. Please join a couple minutes early so we can start on time.
