We believe an exceptional education at U of D Jesuit should be attainable.

U of D Jesuit has created a unique tuition model to align the cost of tuition with individual family budgets. Our tuition model offers adjustments based on annual family income, ranging from less than $50,000 up to $225,000, though we encourage all families to apply for tuition reduction regardless of their annual income. Families seeking reduced tuition will have their applications thoroughly reviewed for potential adjustments based on family size and other circumstances.

There are three tuition payment plans available.

. Single payment: Full tuition payment due June 2025

. Two payments: Tuition payment of 50% due June 2025 and balance in October 2025

. Eleven monthly payments: First payment in May 2025 and last payment in March 2026

Academic Scholarships

Merit scholarships apply to only incoming 9th grade students. Transfer students are not eligible for merit scholarships. Percentages listed for merit scholarships come from the national composite score.

If an 8th grade student receives a merit scholarship or a combination of merit scholarships that are of greater value than what he is receiving from U of D Jesuit, please submit a copy of the award to the Office of Admissions and we will make every effort to be competitive with the other school's award.

Merit Scholarships are only awarded to students who take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) during the Archdiocesan-designated dates of November through February.

The Archdiocese of Detroit offers tuition assistance to Catholic and non-Catholic families who reside and send children to Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Detroit. Each year, the Archdiocese allocates funds for those who:

1. Reside within the Archdiocese of Detroit, and

2. Whose children attend Catholic schools located within the boundaries of the Archdiocese of Detroit, and

3. Have a demonstrated financial need through the application process.

Below are some key points you need to be aware of:

The AOD application process opens in FACTS on December 16, 2024.
AOD parent information letter (updated for 25-26)- available below and on the AOD website.
Important: Be sure to check the box for AOD review. If you have already applied to FACTS Grant & Aid for financial aid from U of D Jesuit and did not check the box, you can go back in and check it. If you need assistance, please contact FACTS Customer Support (866-441-4637).
Really Important: You must list U of D Jesuit as your first-choice school on your FACTS application.
Required: AOD Pastor Signature form. This needs to be turned into the U of D Jesuit Financial Aid office by February 28, 2025. This form is available on the AOD website and is available below. This needs to be completed, taken to your parish office to have your Pastor sign the form and then send a copy (email is fine) of the form to the U of D Jesuit Financial Aid office: financial.aid@uofdjesuit.org
The AOD requires your 2023 tax return including all supporting schedules and forms.

AOD Timeline:

December 16,2024 - AOD FACTS application.
February 28, 2025 - DEADLINE for Pastor Verifications to be submitted to school offices.
February 28, 2025 - DEADLINE for online applications to be complete in FACTS.

It is important to read this document in its entirety before you apply for tuition assistance from the Archdiocese.

How to Apply for Tuition Reduction

How to Apply for Tuition Reduction for the 2025-2026 School Year

1. Submit an application in FACTS Grant & Aid at: FACTS Application (Application open now)

2. Upload your Federal Tax Return(s) to FACTS for 2023. Please include Schedules 1, A, B, C, D, E and F when applicable.

3. Upload your W2(s) for 2024 to FACTS.

4. If you file separate tax returns, tax returns for both parents need to be uploaded to FACTS.

5. Other required documents (where relevant):

IRS 4506-T Form - a completed and signed form is required for all applicants.
Policy for Divorced, Separated or Single Parents/Guardians - It is requested that both parents submit a financial aid application.
Policy for Self Employed or Business Owners - If either parent is self-employed, this form needs to be completed. We will also expect that the tax documents pertaining to the business are also uploaded to FACTS, such as, Schedule C, K-1 and 1120S, when applicable.

6. The Tuition Reduction Committee will review your application for tuition reduction once the following are complete:

Student has received their acceptance letter/email
FACTS application is complete and verified.
Additional documentation is completed and received, see #5 above.
