• Fall School Open House: October 19, 2025, Noon to 3 PM
• Spring Open House: April 21, 2026, 6:00 to 8:00 PM

You can start the application process starting in September via our application portal. The early decision application deadline is mid-December, and the first round of decisions for the Academy will be released mid-January, while the first round of decisions for the high school will be released on the fourth Friday of January at 4 PM.

We have openings in 7th, 8th, and 9th grades, with limited openings in 10th and 11th grades.

• Early decision application deadline is December 19th, 2025.
• The Financial Aid application will be released on November 1, 2025. The financial aid application deadline is December 19, 2025.
• Registration deadline for new students is February 27, 2026.

Families who submit all of their admissions information to the Admissions Office by December 19th, 2025 or soon thereafter will receive their admissions decisions by the end of January (January 23, 2026 for high school, January 30, 2026 for the Academy). After that point, admissions decisions will be made on a rolling basis. 

For transfers, a decision will be made after a family meets with the Admissions Office and the school administration. 

For both the high school and the Academy, entrance exams are required. For the Academy, it is the Series 15 and 16 conducted by STS and for the high school, it is the High School Placement Test. We will also accept a score from the PSAT 8/9 test in lieu of the High School Placement Test. We also ask families to submit prior standardized test scores to the admissions office.

We are looking for students who score grade-level or above on their respective standardized test assessments.

At U of D Jesuit, academic rigor is not only for college preparedness but also a spiritual pursuit to seek the truth, which culminates in the understanding of God.

Furthermore, Jesuit education is holistic, developing students’ moral character and spirituality along with their intellect. Our school draws from the Ignatian spiritual tradition that assists students finding a pathway and personal relationship with God. We individually accompany our students over four to six years to connect their classroom learning to issues facing our society. The truest testament to Jesuit education is who our students have become as servants of the common good, advocates for the vulnerable, and adept at moral and spiritual discernment.

No. U of D Jesuit has a mosaic of religious identities that comprise the school community, both in the student body, faculty, and staff. U of D Jesuit is a truly diverse and welcoming community.  While most students are Catholic, non-Catholic students are welcome to participate in every dimension of student life including retreats and other religious experiences.

All U of D Jesuit students, regardless of their religious beliefs, are welcomed into every element of student life including the required Theology courses, retreats, prayers, and liturgies.  Muslim students, Jewish students, and students of non-Abrahamic faiths have helped lead our Catholic retreats, plan Masses, prayer services, and other faith and service events. Interreligious experiences like these enrich everyone’s faith life, build relationships, increase empathy, foster understanding, and further prepare students to serve a beautifully diverse world.

No. We hope to strengthen every person’s pathway to God while sharing the richness of our Catholic tradition. We are convinced that by encountering other religious groups, we better understand the “light” that illumines all human hearts.

Yes. The Jesuit community at U of D Jesuit is comprised of nine members who live in the Jesuit Residence on campus. Six Jesuits work in the school as faculty, staff or administrators. 

Mass is celebrated at 7:25 AM, four days a week in our school Chapel. The school schedules all-school and all-class masses at regular intervals throughout the academic year and on Holy Days of Obligation.

The school organizes Reconciliation services during the Advent and Lenten seasons, but any student can arrange a time with one of the Jesuit priests to celebrate the sacrament. 

Based on student interest, the Campus Ministry and Service Office organizes other opportunities for communal prayer (i.e., the rosary, Taizé, etc.) and Eucharistic adoration throughout the school year.
