Visit U of D Jesuit

When is it?
September through May

What’s it really like to be a Cub? Come find out. Cub for a Day gives students in grades 5–11 the chance to spend a school day at The High alongside a current student who shares their interests. Go to class, meet other Cubs, grab lunch in the Commons and experience the day like you’re already part of the brotherhood.

Dress Like a Cub
Dress shirt, tie, dress pants, belt, dress socks and shoes. In August and September, a polo shirt is also welcome. No color requirements.

Lunch is on us
Your Cub for a Day ID doubles as your lunch card, so you can choose from the options available in our cafeteria.

Your day at The High
Arrive at 8:45 a.m. through the Visitor’s Entrance (Door #1) on the west side of the building. Your day wraps up at 1:30 p.m. School tours are available after the visit.

Glad you asked! We have two.
FALL OPEN HOUSE
Sunday, October 25, 2026
12 to 3 p.m.

SPRING OPEN HOUSE
TBD - March/April

Come See The High
Prospective students and their families will tour the campus with a current Cub, explore campus and get a feel for what life is really like here.

Explore our classrooms, science and technology spaces, music and art rooms, athletic facilities and more, all inside our historic campus.

Meet the people
Connect with admissions, teachers, coaches, administrators, current parents, students and our Jesuit community.

Make it personal
Open House is an opportunity to explore the classrooms, but also what interests you most outside of studying. Let us know you’re coming and tell us about your son’s interests so we can help make your visit count.
