Ignatian Spirituality

Ignatian Spirituality is what defines U of D Jesuit High School and Academy as a Jesuit school and explains its mission.

Evenings of Reflection

The Mission Integration and Adult Formation office sponsors evenings of reflection for alumni and parents. Most of these evenings will feature a U of D Jesuit faculty member who will address an important topic relevant to faith, academics and spiritual life. The meeting dates and times will be announced well in advance.

Jesuit and Catholic Identity Formation for Faculty and Staff

The Loyola Program is a two-year course designed for teachers and staff who are new to the school. The group gathers periodically throughout the academic year for an hour to discuss aspects of Jesuit education and the school’s “way of proceeding.” By learning more about Jesuit education, new employees become knowledgeable and committed partners in our common mission to serve the people of southeast Michigan.
