U of D Jesuit is again pleased to announce we will be providing bus service for the 2017-18 school year. To pre-order bus passes, the registration form is on the school's website here. Due date for 1st semester registration is Monday, August 7, 2017. Students will pick up their pre-paid passes during their orientation (1st semester) or during winter exams (2nd semester) in the Transportation Office (Room 103-B). After orientation week, one-way passes may be purchased in the Cub Corner. Semester passes may be purchased from the Business Office.
This year, we are pleased to announce changes to our routes and schedules. First, the West Route will now become our South-West Route. This bus will service students from Brownstown (using Telegraph Road) up through Taylor, Dearborn and Livonia. Since Telegraph is a divided Highway, we decided to have a pick-up on northbound Telegraph before school and a drop-off on southbound Telegraph after school. You will see this on the Route Sheet below. The second change involves our Northwest route's pick-up/drop-off site which was Meijer (8 Mile and Haggerty) and now has been moved to the Kroger shopping plaza located at 6 Mile and Haggerty. Finally, we added an additional stop on the East Route at St. Paul on the Lake in Grosse Pointe Farms.
We intend to utilize "SchoolMessenger" (the program used for school cancellations) in addition to email as a method to communicate excessive busing delays. This way, if your son is registered on a bus (even for a one-way pass purchase) you will be notified by email, text and voice. Please note that you will only receive communication for the bus your son is registered to ride. Unregistered riders will not receive this communication.
If you have any questions regarding bus transportation, please contact Mrs. Marie Watson at 313-862-5400 ext. 2336 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the event of an emergency or if a bus is not at the location at the designated time, please feel free to contact Trinity Transportation dispatch at:
586-296-3017: if your son rides the East route
313-228-4521: if your son rides the North, West, or Northwest route
The dispatcher will be able to contact the driver and determine when the bus will be at your location. Please understand the bus cannot wait past its designated departure time if you are running late.
For parents who may want to carpool, you will be able to access names of all students in your city with our new OnProduct portal, MyUofDJesuit.
