Principal's News - G.A. Marando

A.M.D.G.                              May/June 2010

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This is the last letter I will write to you for the 2009-2010 school year. You may be asking, "Where did the year go?" Many of us around here are wondering the same thing. I remember a former teacher of mine, who said, "The older you become, gentlemen, the faster the year goes." Over the last few years, I have recalled that statement more and more. In terms of your sons' learning, and our role as their teachers, I see the year as continuing beyond June. We simply take on a different rhythm in the summer.

New Principal for 2010/2011

This time of year also brings other changes to the school community, some subtle and some much more obvious. One of the more noticeable changes will be in the Principal's Office.

Say farewell to Mr. Marando and welcome to Mr. Trudel.

Admissions Department

Dear Parents,

Even though we are well into the school year, the Admissions Department is still busy and hard at work. Our freshman class is shaping up quite nicely and will be the largest freshman class entering U of D Jesuit in eight years. The incoming Academy 7th grade class and our new 8th graders are looking very strong as well. Your family knows what it's like to choose a new school for your son and can speak to how U of D Jesuit has shaped your lives and what the school means to your family.
