Congratulations Cub Swim and Dive Team

Congratulations to the Swim and Dive teams who represented U of D with the largest State Qualifying team in school history. John Santieu is the BEST in the State. John won the Division 2 State Championship with a point total of 506 which was the top score in ALL divisions. John will be All-American and All-State for another year. Also, the 200 Medley Relay Team of James Schena, Michael Janes, Tim Ponkowski and Matt Mazur finished 13th in the State meet. Michael Ian Goggins finished 16th in the State in the 200 Individual Medley.

Congratulations Cub Hockey Team

The Hockey Team had another unbelievable season finishing in the Great Eight of the State Tournament with an 18-10 record. The guys were Regional Champs and State Quarter-finalists. The team received maybe it's biggest award today as they were named the number ONE Academic Team in the State for the unprecented FIFTH straight year.

19th Annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

The U of D Jesuit Admissions Department is hosting the 19th Annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament for students grades 5-8 on March 27, 2010. This event has become an annual tradition at the High and promises great fun for all those who participate.

Congratulations Cub Quiz Bowl Team

The J.V. Quiz Bowl Team of Ben and Grady Peck and Andrew Gutman took the 1st place trophy in the J.V. Division at the Catholic Central Tournament last Saturday.  This team was undefeated, going 9-0 for the day.  Congratulations guys.

Congratulations Mock Trial Team

The Mock Trial team continued its tradition of success this weekend at the Regionals.  The A team, again earned a spot as State Finalist, for the third year in a row. They finished in 6th place at the Regionals with a 3-0 record.  They lost only 1 ballot from the 9 judges of the day.  They will be one of only 10 Mock Trial teams from the state competing in Lansing on March 27th.

2010 Alumni of the Year Award Recipients Announced

U of D Jesuit is proud to announce this year's Alumni of the Year Award Recipients - Br. Guy Consolmagno, S.J. '70 and John Gregg '74. They will be presented with the award at the 23rd Annual Alumni Senior Luncheon.

Congratulations Cub Forensics Team

Congratulations to Mitch Kosters, Andrew Guttman, Nick Norton and Peter Sliwa who all placed at the Forensics tournament at Mercy High School last Saturday.  Peter Sliwa, Michael Crowley, Nick Norton, Andrew Guttman and Mitch Kosters are all qualified in thier respective categories to compete at National Qualifiers on March 27th.
