The Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) has named U of D senior Alex Van Tiem as one of its 14 Class A Scholar-Athlete Award Recipients and he is quite possibly the first student from U of D Jesuit to receive the award which includes a $1,000 college scholarship.

Hey Cubs!  In support of all of the great sports accomplishments and cocurricular activities, we will be having a winter Spirit Week Feb. 22-26.  The themes for each day are posted in each homeroom and on Facebook.

You are invited to City Sports Center for a U of D Jesuit Varsity Hockey Game! Please join the 2008-09 MIHL Champion Cubs as they host the Pilots from De La Salle for this exciting Catholic League rivalry. The Cubs are ranked #5 in Division I and the Pilots are #1 in Division II. Present this letter to the Admissions Staff at the door for free admission to the game on Saturday, February 27 at 3:00pm.

Congratulations to Jordan Dean on being named to the East Squad of the MHSAA East-West All-Star Football Game. Jordan is very deserving of this and all the other honors he has received this year. Jordan has helped turn around the Football Program here at U of D Jesuit through his dedication, hard work and excellent leadership. The Varsity and JV Hockey Cubs arrived back home at City Sport Center on Monday, January 18. 2010 at 3:00 A.M. following a 4 day, 3 game road trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan that found them winning 2 of the 3 games against Top 10 Opposition.
 

The Varsity Cub Hockey team, ranked 5th in the State for Division 1, was featured on StudentandAthlete.com for their victory over Grosse Pointe North this weekend.
